Pursuit and In Plain Sight

The first tracks released were as a "double A-side". Many would think releasing the seven-and-a-half-minute epic that is PURSUIT as the first single as a bit risky, and maybe so. A song in the making for over 21 years, when the main hook was written, and turned into the song it has become over the 22 months before its release; its heavy-driven riffs, swooping choruses, and gradual build-up to a fast and furious finale made it a no-brainer to be the first track on the first single.

IN PLAIN SIGHT, a quirky track about the kind of stuff that goes through your head late on a long night out drinking, comes in at a more respectable 4:07 and only uses vocals and drums for the first minute, before a bass guitar joins in, followed by guitar for the final minute. It was written in one hour and recorded in 2 days (apart from a few touch-ups...)
CONVERSATIONS

3 minutes and 39 seconds in length, Conversations was the second release. A track that progressively builds from a simple guitar strumming and blended whispered vocals. Conceived, written and with most of the instrumental recorded in late 2015. Touched up in 2022.
The artwork shows a man coming to confront something he feels has done him wrong, the anger within struggling to be contained. He's come for a conversation, but it's likely to be quite one-sided.

ENGINE - Released 22.07.2023
The full debut album from TangeMusic contains 9 tracks written and recorded over a combined 22 years, and includes album only versions of PURSUIT and IN PLAIN SIGHT. A 38-minute Long-Player, ENGINE is a rock album that swoops and soars its way through hopes, dreams, depression, hatred, elation, loving and longing.
